I was privileged enough to become chosen family with Waya. He was treated with respect as a brother, an elder, a friend.

We shared military stories, he was Army Veteran, he was an Airborne Ranger during the Vietnam War. That's a real big deal.

I salute you Ranger. Rest in glory. Your watch is over.
