I am so sorry to hear about Jon passing! I lived 2 doors down from the Osaki’s in River Park on Breuner Avenue and use to be like his mom’s helper with Jon and Karina. I adored those two, so many great memories and such a loving and caring family. Wow, truly so incredible sad and shocked to hear this news. He was so young and I just learned Reiko passed before him. Heavy heart. I hope his son Jay will be able to read all the wonderful notes people have left. Jon was so funny as a young child, full of life and always smiling. He adored his sister Karina (who also looked up to him) and his dogs. His mom had a heart of gold and his dad just such a gem. Great memories, just sorry to hear his life was cut so short.
I saw Denise Cardenas today. She was devastated to read my announcement I wrote in River Park. Her daughter Brooke was in the same class in elementary school at Caleb Greenwood School.
Brenda, I'm working on getting the most recent photos off of Jon's phone and cloud storage so I'll post when I do finally. Karine has been rather ill but is planning on attending, so you'll see her I hope. Thank you for sharing sweet memories of Jon.
Benjamin, Thank you so much for sharing memories of you and Jon from school, as well as the photos. That is so nice of you to take the time to do that!
Jon was a good friend in highschool... we had a great crew we all ran with, and always had fun causing mischief in East Sacramento. Jon and I shared being born on St. Patrick's Day... he was like a brotha from another mutha... I'm so sorry to hear that the Earth lost such a good soul.
I have spoken to two people, who Jon worked with on the Haunted Houses in Northern CA. Mike Dazzo and Jon Kawasaki will be in attendance at the Service and lunch. Keep posting recent photos, please.
