Johnny's obituary

Johnny, 26, of Washington State passed away suddenly in late February. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.

Johnny was born on November 27, 1995 to John & Michele Smart in Alaska. After graduating from Sherwood High School in 2014, Johnny attended Green River College in order to study in The Natural Resource program. During his time at Green River College, Johnny discovered he had a knack for herbaria.  He loved photography, music, origami, and exploring nature. Johnny also dedicated time to mindfulness and meditation. He hoped to one day share this creative outlet with Native American children and young adults in impoverished schools and reservations.  Anyone who knew Johnny, knew that he was brilliant, kind, quiet yet outspoken and had a wicked sense of humor. He had an immense passion for art in all its forms and was passionate about sharing his art with the world. The family requests that instead sending flowers, to send pictures with stories and memories to be shared.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held at 11:00am on June 25th, 2022 at Miracle Theatre in Washington DC. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
