Today is one month since the best man I ever knew left us in this awful world to try to live without him. I'm finding that I just want my daddy back. It's just a half-assed world without Johnny Lee Wills in it to make you smile, laugh, cry or all three at the same time. I'm not handling this very well, I guess you're really not supposed to but...this blows.

I loved my pawpaw. He was my dad. I will never heal from this. He was my world. Saying I miss him isn’t even close. When he left he took part of all of us with him. I love you pawpaw. -Katie

This was posted on FB by Joanna Linebaugh who my daddy loved as a daughter her entire life!!

To the one who helped me when I cried, grounded me when I was bad, who hugged me so tight when I felt so alone and a failure, he made me feel like the most special person in the world!!

I will miss you so so much and I want to live the way you did with honor, respect and the tremendous LOVE for GOD and your Family!!

Shared a heart Red heart

When I was 16 years old, my daddy woke me up at 4:30 am. He had been on his way to work and caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of his eye in the dark. He pulled over and found a tiny kitten, eyes not even open, all alone on the road. He brought him back to the house and woke me up and said he's yours now, keep him alive. And I did, his name was Snuggles and he didn't die until I was 30 years old. Best gift my dad ever gave me and Snuggles.
