I remember Johnny was always the one to hold alpha troop together during the hardest time. He was always the glue, and had the brightest smile that could light up the darkest of days. You will truly be missed brother. Love you forever and always

When I joined the Army, Johnny was the first person that I met. We both flew out of Honolulu. He was one of the kindest and most respectful men I have ever met. He immediately made an eternal-lasting impression on me and I will never forget that. I am so sorry for your loss.
