In lieu of flowers

Background

John is the person that knew how to make everything in life fun. He was full of life and his love for life would spill over to the lives of others. John was always an amazing problem solver. He knew how to make everything fun and bring joy into the lives of those he loved. We all saw him as a leader and we will miss him dearly. The people that knew John best say that this memorial service is only the beginning, John and his contagious laughter will live on forever. His tragic loss has left us with a hole in our hearts. The people that had the pleasure of meeting him say his smile was infectious and changed lives for the better. I know many will agree when I say that John would do anything for anyone. He always saved the day. A living hero. He left behind a fiancé, whom he loved dearly and his two sons ( one step son and one of his own). he loved his family including his sisters, mother, grandmother, and father.

Johns surviving family is asking for contributions to the memorial fund in lieu of flowers.

Here is a breakdown of estimated expenses for John which we need to pay by February 9th.
Grave: $4500
Casket: $2500
Funeral home: $3500

We need your help to be able to put him to Rest In Peace. We are looking for donations to help with this burial. We have started a GoFundMe fundraiser here: https://gofund.me/b4907595

We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. May God bless you.
