Sometime in the not so distant past and a time I will never forget…JohnnieMae and my mom (Elise) were driving together and I called to see what they were doing and where they were going.  My mom said “just driving”. I asked “to where?” She replied “I don’t know”, then she asked JohnnieMae, and her response was “I don’t know”, so I asked my mom “well, where are y’all now”…my mom said “I don’t know”, then she asked JohnnieMae, to which she replied “I don’t know”!  We all laughed soo hard!! I asked if they needed me to come meet up with them, and help get them to WHEREVER they were supposed to be going or back to JohnnieMae’s house, but they declined with “we don’t know where we are or where we’re going, but we’re fine!” Those two always tickled me!! The memories of visiting, the laughs, the love, the sleepovers, and never ever leaving empty handed because JohnnieMae wouldn’t allow it! She was more of an aunt, than a cousin.  I will miss you JohnnieMae, rest well beautiful soul, you will truly be missed and still loved.

Mrs Wilson was a pilar of strength, resilience and inspiration. Her power did not just come from her achievement of raising seven amazing children while being a strong supportive wife, but from the way she lifted others in her own special way, how she faced adversity and stayed true to her values, paving the way for her future generations. She has earned her crown. Rest in peace Mrs Wilson!  Love, Tracy Flint
Thank you Mrs Wilson for the love and memories. I will cherish your nuggets of wisdom, and I'll pass the cast iron skillet down to Renee' !   Love, Lisa
Extending our sincere condolences to the family. May God grant you strength and a sense of peace during this challenging time.

When I think of Mrs. Wilson, my heart overflows with gratitude for the love and support she gave me and my family for over 40 years. From Oxford Street in Philly to Tiverton Circle in Newark, Delaware, she was a faithful woman of God – always giving of herself to help others. I met Mrs. Wilson when I was 14 years old, and she was an amazing example of a faithful wife, mother, sister, aunt, neighbor, and friend. I watched how she lovingly managed her family, while also serving in her professional career as a supervisor in banking. She was always dressed so sharp and classy every day. When Missy and I were seniors in high school, she got us our first professional jobs working at First Pennsylvania Bank😊. A true Proverbs 31 woman, where the Lord has spoken Matthew 25:23, “Well done, good and faithful servant…”. On behalf of my family, thank you for your love. We will forever have you in our hearts.

 Love,

Whitney Williams
