First met Jonathan as a skinny 9th grade soccer player when he came to Grissom High School and I was one of his coaches. Jonathan was a pleasure to coach; hard working, team player and liked by all. As he matured his high school years he only became better as a person and soccer player. His four years on varsity soccer produced four straight state championships and he was a large contributor to its success. Two years team captain,Most valuable Player, 1st Team all City. I was at his wedding where he was all smiles marrying the woman he dearly loved. To say I was shocked to get the unfortunate news of his passing would be an understatement. These boys are all like sons to me and he was one of the best. Not supposed to have favorites, but dang, he was one of mine. I can only imagine the large hole he leaves in his family. A special man for sure.

I'm praying for you all everyday and hoping that peace, love and memories will help to get you all through this terrible time. My heart broke to hear of the news. Me and my sweetie family are all thinking of you in this time of need. I can't wait to give you all a hug and let you know we all love you and hope you can remember all the good times. Take care and be strong. Please just know there are many thinking of you all in this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear about Jonathan’s death.  I will always think of him playing soccer.
My condolences to the family.  I only knew Jonathan professionally, working with him a a couple real estate transactions.  But he was the consummate  professional and I never hesitated to refer him to valued clients.  He will be missed.
