On Friday, October 14, 2022, John Youd III, loving husband and father of two daughters, passed away at the age of 81.

John was born in Wyandotte, MI to Susan and John Youd II. For over __ years, John served countless individuals and businesses through the Youd Insurance Agency. John was also a devoted member of the community, and was actively involved in the local Kiwanis Club, YMCA, Wyandotte Yacht Club, and his church.

John was passionate about boating and woodworking. His favorite place was on the water. He also created stunning boats by hand which are cherished by his family and friends. He was known for his character, work ethic, devotion to his family and friends, his determination and his love of MSU football.

John is survived by his wife Carol, his two daughters, Sarah and Christine, and his four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29th, at the Church of the Ascension, 205 W Cherokee Ave, Cartersville GA 30120 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the church.
