Dr Appel, I have no words. I am so sad for you and your family.

Please know, our hearts truly ache for the unimaginable grief you and your family are enduring as you mourn the loss of your beautiful son John.

Huge hugs to you all but especially to you Dr Appel - you cared for my Mom Marie and Joe’s Mom Ann with such kindness and compassion. We have always been so grateful, and we loved getting to know you.

You are all in our thoughts and our prayers.
