John J. White, 86, passed peacefully in Newville, PA on February 23, 2019. Born in the Bronx, New York, he is survived by his wife, Edith E. White (Pahnke) of Arheilgen, Germany, and daughter, Martina M. White, living in Reston, Virginia. John enjoyed a long career at Moran Towing Corp., purchasing supplies for the iconic tugboat line of New York harbor, and raising his family in Copiague, New York. This was followed by a long and happy retirement in East Berlin, Pennsylvania, and later Newville, Pennsylvania.
