John grew up in a small town in Iowa called Okoboji. Being the only child he had a lot of fun as he would always jokingly say "by himself". Growing up on the lake he enjoyed fishing, boating, and anything that had to do with friends. Those who knew John knew him as a kind and warm hearted man. The kind of person that was always there for you, no matter what. This website is just a little something to remember him by before we all gather.
