John Tork, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025 with his loved ones at his side.   Born November 17, 1951, John lived a fulfilling life.   He loved the outdoors and never met a stranger!   People loved him!   All who had the privilege to spend time with him were guaranteed to leave with a smile due to his quick wit and sense of humor.   John spent the majority of his life as a master builder and carpenter for Winter Park Ski Resort, Winter Park, CO.  

He is survived by his wife, Gail Eames, his daughter, Katricia Tork Gallagher,  his two sisters Vicki Newberry of Evergreen, CO and Gela Tork Vangilder of Fairmont, WV as well as four grandchildren.  We will remember and honor him for his unconditional love, selfless spirit, and the love showed throughout his life.  His passing leaves a huge void in our lives, but his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
