John Thomas ‘PawPaw’ Boyd went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2023. John was born March 14, 1952 in Washington, DC, to the late John Frederick Boyd and Gloria Ann Boyd. He is survived by his wife Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Boyd, his children, Nigel Boyd SR (Stephanie), Megan Bunch (Kris), Craig Boyd (Darla) and Devin Boyd (Jesse). As well as his grandchildren, Nigel Boyd JR (Mackenzie), Christopher Boyd, Alyssa Boyd, Peyton Bunch, Brooklynn Bunch, Hayden Boyd, Hannah Boyd, James Pinkham and his great grandson, Nigel Boyd III.

John met Cindy in 1990 and they were married on October 9, 1992. He served our country in the Air Force during Vietnam war and was later a painter. He enjoyed watching sports on TV and loved his Redskins and Nationals. More than anything, he enjoyed watching his children grow up and become parents and being around his grandchildren who were the joy and light of his life. Boyd, Peyton Bunch, Brooklynn Bunch, Hayden Boyd, Hannah Boyd, James Pinkham and his great grandson, Nigel Boyd III.
