Background
Our dad John Steinhofer loved the Green Bay Packers. He grew up two short blocks away and would often sneak over to the fence and watch games through a hole in the fence. John lived and breathed football and was a loyal fan even when the Pack was not doing well. John would record games and rewatch them over and over again and always loved having a football game in the background. In 2017 we took him on a tour of Lambeau with my kids and John told us it was one of the best days of his life. When we got on the field John was just speechless even as Max, who was 6 at the time, kept trying to touch the lines and the field which was "off-limits".
John's wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread at the Packers Stadium. While we aren't sure if that is possible (and are looking into it), we believe a brick with his name is the next best thing and that John would just love to be memorialized with his favorite team forever.
If there are any extra funds, the family will purchase a memorial brick for John at the New Zoo Adventure Park where his Father George also has a memorial.
