John Douglas Steelman 49, of Odessa, TX passed away November 10, 2022.

Doug was born October 10, 1973 in Odessa, TX. He has also lived in Denver City, Big Spring and later moved with his family to Dallas, TX where he started a family before later moving back Odessa.

Doug turned his love of cars and turning wrenches into a career and was never afraid of hard work. For fun he loved to fish, camp and hunt. When his kids were young he loved nothing more than sharing these experiences with them.

He is survived by his children: Joey Mitchell and wife Jenna and Joey’s mother Lizetta, Will Steelman and Betty Steelman and their mother Stacey as well as his granddaughters Julianne and Jayde, his brother Chris Steelman, his Aunt T.J. Palmer and husband Wayne and lots of cousins and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Delores Steelman.
