*In lieu of flowers we will be accepting donations to restore John’s corvette to a running condition so his daughter can take him on one last drive.
This car represented various times in John’s life where he felt proud and accomplished. He was raised in the world of automobiles and he passed that love onto his only daughter. As she grew up they spent most of their quality time in his classic cars, listening to music, learning from each other and most importantly just spending time together.
Due to his 14 months spent in the hospital funds that were spoken about being used for this experience are no longer available.
A trip to San Diego to see his friend play live music near the ocean was something talked about endlessly and unfortunately never made into a reality while he was still with her (us).
Until now, thank you for your care.
I spent endless hours trying to think of the most authentic way to celebrate my dad, and through it all his care for cars and being perceived as a fashionable, cool, and an overall stylish guy who loved california and live music just re surfaced over and over, i acknowledge this is different than most funds but my dad was different and I want to make sure and celebrate that to the better end.
