Helping hands

In lieu of flowers

In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to To Honor the Memory of John D. Sherman.
John was the big brother who always knew how to tickle my funnybone, either through a humorous gesture, a silly anecdote, or baffling me with financial jargon. We shared the same appreciation for the surreal and wacky and a distaste for unnecessary drama and conflict. John will never leave my heart or mind - Rest in Peace brother xxx
I will always remember John’s warmth, patience and just overall good vibes! He was a good teacher too! He will always be alive in my memories. Love to your spirit John and love to Natalie and all of the Sherman family.

Natalie,

I am so sorry to hear of Johns’s passing.  I always enjoyed a sidewalk conversation and his advice on buying  a car or talking current news.  Always looking dapper in his bow tie and jacket.  Such a wonderful person.

Keeping you in Thoughts and prayers,

Theresa

Dear Natalie and family,

I remember John as a presence, a big bear with a great sense of humor and a willing ear. I am glad he found love and fulfillment in his life--it's what we all hope for, I only wish he could have stayed a little longer.

Go to God, John, and be at peace.

Your Battisborough friend, Amy

Natalie and the Sherman family,

My  sincere condolences on John’s passing from this world. I considered John a friend as well as my rock solid financial advisor for over 25 years for both my personal finances and the numerous mutual clients we worked with.

I will miss his quirky  personality  and wit.

Doug

I was blessed to know John. He had an appetite for life. I will always remember his smile and how he radiated positivity, even to the end. Enjoy your next trip around the sun, John! We will miss you here.

I have known John since I was very young. Our parents were good friends. John taught me how to be a bell hop at the Sugarbush Inn in 1976. John was always quick to offer to valet the fancy cars. He was a good guy and I’m not surprised he helped so many people as a financial advisor.

My condolences to John's family. I first met the Shermanator as an EDJ rookie. He was a great colleague.!

When I lived in Waterbury( for 13 years), John was my financial advisor at Edward Jones. He was smart, witty and professional.I trusted him completely. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Hope he is driving a sporty car up in the clouds with a polka dotted bow tie!
Shared a heart Red heart
