John's obituary

John Ewing Sharp IV was born to John Ewing Sharp III and Ramona Jean Skaggs on July 15th 1954 in Chickasha, OK.

John grew up in Southern California, he attended a convention in Oklahoma City in 1975 and in typical John fashion he tapped a brother on the chest with the back of his hand twice and asked to borrow a pencil so that he could get a girl he was smitten withs address. Later they would exchange love letters for two years until he and Ruth Allison Wright were married on April 2nd 1977.

John devoted his life to Jehovah in 1977, and throughout his life he opened his door to anyone in need and adopted many as if they were his own and impacted their lives well beyond his passing. He enjoyed landscaping, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. After John retired he spent most of his time at their home in Nowata watching his grandchildren, experimenting with various foods in the kitchen and watching OU football and the OKC Thunder. He had an amazing sense of humor and a smile that was contagious. He passed a faithful servant of Jehovah and we look forward to seeing him in a Paradise Earth.

John had six children; John Ewing Sharp V, Benjamin Micheal Sharp, Micah Jordan Howard Sharp, Brooke Alison Ritchie, Tera Danielle Allridge, and Candice Nichole Thompson. (and Shank)

Also his beloved grandchildren
Aiden, Kylie, John Ewing Sharp VI, Kara, Natalia, Clayton, Jackson, Sophie, Berklee, Jayla, and Ezra (and grandpup Spooky.)

John is survived by his wife of 42 years Ruth Sharp, his six children, his eleven grandchildren, his mother Ramona, his sister Rebecca, and numerous other biological and spiritual family.

John is preceeded in death by his father John Ewing Sharp III
