John Shantie, born on March 17, 1964, passed away on June 15, 2023. A loving and devoted husband, son, brother, and friend, John will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his wife, Amy Marcellus Shantie; father, Ernest Shantie; stepmother, LulaBelle Shantie; brothers Timothy, Philip, Frank, and Michael Shantie; sisters Marcia Sucese, Sandra Arnold, and Brenda Ramsey. He was predeceased by his mother, Ada Chole Shantie, and brother, Lawrence George Shantie.

John was a proud veteran of the Navy, serving his country with dedication and honor. His favorite recreational activities included hunting and fishing, which he pursued with passion throughout his life.

Gone too soon, John fought a hard battle and is now at peace. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy will be remembered for generations to come.
