The family of John “Cess” Scrutchen, Jr. wishes to acknowledge his Johns Hopkins team of doctors for his care and the support of his family during this past year. Many thanks to his colleagues at the Defense Logistics Agency for their continued support. We are grateful to our friends in the broader community, in Camp Hill and across the country, for their prayers, words and acts of kindness. Much appreciation is extended to those who sent messages or flowers, prepared meals, participated in the arrangements for Cess’ celebration, and who exhibited great selflessness despite their own grief.

Angels escorted our dear John Norman Scrutchen, Jr., better known as Cess, to his heavenly home when he was called to be with the lord on Saturday, February 5th, 2022.

Cess brightened the lives of the late John Norman, Sr. and Alice Marie (Vaughn) Scrutchen since his birth on July 7th, 1975, in Youngstown, Ohio.

He is survived by his mother Alice Carter and sister Luciana Scrutchen whom he loved deeply. He leaves to mourn …
