John Samakovlis, age 47, lost a quick battle with colon cancer. However, in his 47 years John won the hearts of many.

He leaves behind his loving family including his wife Argy, two sons, Adam and Zachary and daughter Maria.

John was a hard working family man. He was an asset to his community and gave time to help groups and causes in the Brooklyn Greek community, including AHEPA and the Greek School of Plato.

John will be truly missed by all those he touched with his smile, dance, assistance and company.
