This is the last song my brother spoke of and shared. John had accepted that a lot of his beliefs and thoughts were misguided. He was in the process of changing those beliefs mentally and spiritually. This song reflects some of those changes. Over the last few days of his life, I've come to know, John was wanting to reach out to members of his family. Unfortunately, he did not get that chance. Lay down your troubles, Rest in Peace, my brother.
CJ you have been a father to us all in the trading community. Thanks to all of your teachings and insights, God bless your soul and may your soul rest in perfect peace. We love you... Till we meet again. Olux
I am beyond sad to learn recently of your passing away. A great teacher and friend. You will be missed. My heartfelt condolence to the family you left behind. I owe much of my knowledge to you. Rest in perfect peace.
So very sorry for you all with John’s passing. While we hadn’t seen John for quite a while, our memories are full - softball, bowling, vacations, raising the kids, card games and just hanging out. It was always entertaining to hear of John’s latest plan for us all to get rich - should have listened to him on the Belize investment!
I'd like to offer my condolences to the family as well. Like so many others, I was and continue to be inspired by him and his insights. His passing is a great loss. He will be sorely missed. RIP
My deepest condolence to the Saffron family. John (AKA Captain Jack) was a selfless mentor, someone who selflessly gave his Forex trading knowledge and time. He trained me and several others how to trade the Forex market without the use of indicators. CJ was a good man with a generous heart.
John AKA Captain Jack was a mentor of mine for many years, easily in my top three alongside Steve Hopwood and Nanningbob.. He was instrumental in helping me move away from indicators and starting to look at price with the view of 'what's happening behind it'. He had the best analogies such as 'trapping the fox'. John always had the time for myself and for many of us. He gave of his time selflessly. I remember reading and re-reading his famous PDF on a trip to the snow, completely engrossed in his writing style and understanding of the markets.
Here's hoping that there's something else out there and he can finally see the true reality of the fox behind the charts. This absolutely sucks :(
We will miss you tremendously John. Thanks for everything you gave us and for opening our eyes in a way that not many others were able to.
You gave selflessly. Your insight will be missed. My deepest condolences to your family who might not know how much of an impact you made online to the trading community.
I am so saddened to hear about the death of John ! He was a dear friend to my late husband Ron Weaver and to me ! He sold me my first computer! I loved John and am just heartbroken to hear he had passed! My deepest condolences! Toni Morris
