REDDING - John Ross

passed away on October

3, 2023. He was born to

Allen Ross and Debo?rah Scott on January

10, 1976, in Redding,

California. John grad?uated from Central Val?ley High School in 1994.

After high school John

was a long-haul truck

driver working for his

stepfather Dave before starting his own log haul?ing business. He was owner operator of his own

log truck for approximately 20 years, where he

was known as “Trucker”. After his logging career

he worked for American Concrete Pumping as a

boom pump operator. John was hardworking and

always there to help. Seemly gruff on the outside

those who knew John well knew he was a big teddy

bear on the inside. Survived by his wife Nikki Ross,

Son Brock Kingstrom, his 3 doggies Sophie, Nellie,

and Daisy, father Allen Ross, Mother Deb Scott,

Stepfather Dave Hittenberger, Brother Jeremy Ross,

many in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends

he called family. Celebration of Life will be on

October 28th. at Huff’s Restaurant (Bridge Bay

Resort) Shasta Lake at 2:00pm. In Lieu of flowers

you can make a monetary donation to assist the

family with memorial expenses. Nikki plans to

donate a portion of the proceeds to a local suicide

prevention organization and a pug rescue.
