Sara, I’m sure you know that I grew up with handsome Johnny in Glencoe Methodist. His entire family was an important part of our church family. I was so happy y’all found each other and married, although I didn’t realize it had been 41 years!  But, then, I’ve been retired 30. I cherish your friendship as I did Johnny’s. I know the coming days will be difficult. It is not easy going on without a soul mate and best friend. Memories of special times are our best friend.
My condolences to Sara, Susan, and Amy are extended to each of you in loving friendship.  Meeting John was like meeting a ray of sunshine.  He was kind, considerate, and very friendly.  May the Lord bless each member of your large family and give you comfort in knowing he is at peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting PJ a few times during our trips with Kristen to the US. On one of those trips, we had the chance to play at RTJ with him. It was so cool to get a short tour of the course and hear about his weekly routine, which was super impressive for his age: working every other day and playing a full 18 holes on the days he wasn’t working.
