Hey, anybody! I'm an old friend of John Prince. I made his audition tape and I have all the tracks from those sessions. But there's no way to contact his family directly. In fact there's no way to reach anyone at the EverLoved site. There's so much thoughtlessness like that online these days. Companies who pass themselves off as interested parties, but do not ever want to hear from you. When's the last time you ever dealt with a site that gives its phone number? Never. OK, here's my email address. In the very unlikely event that this reaches any who gives a hoot, my email address is

Dear John's family, I have the tracks from John's audition tape, which I made with him in my studio in San Anselmo. In 2004! There's a lot of John's voice all over this package. Now, look, these files might not open for you. All of our work was done on a Mac. If the files don't open, you'll have to find a program/app that will open them. I listened to all of them. Sounded great. Felt like I was right there with John, all these years later. A talented and very sweet man. Let me know if you have success.
Ooops, I just tried to send the tracks as a reply to the email I got from the Ever Loved folks. Can't do that. Nobody home. So, if you'd like to have this collection of John working at something he really loved, send me you email address and I'll send them to you. They're too big to go regular email. They be put in Google Drive and if that sounds daunting, it is not. Google explains how it works.
Warm Regards,
Terry McGovern

A funny guy with a big heart. We hung together for a while. Mostly, we talked about our hometown, Pittsburgh. Goodnight, sweet prince.

John was a good friend, room mate, employee and best man at our wedding. He always made me laugh. He was our trivia expert before Google. He was the life of any party. I will miss him.
Doug Prince - I would very much appreciate it if you would contact me when things settle down for you.

RIP fully JP. As others have said ‘a prince of a Guy’. Easy to be with, supportive, lovely. Just don’t make em like John anymore. Sending deepest symptomatic John’s family and dear friends - an incredible loss.

John & I served together in the USAF, at Lowry AFB, in the 70's. We ran together for our jobs were, as John loved to put it, the General's bookends. He was the executive officer while I was the general's aide. Man, we had fun!! We kept in touch over the years, and visited each other......not enough. He was a sweet, funny man. I will miss him terribly.

JP was the kindest soul. We were long-time friends and roommates in early the days. I remember the very first week when he moved from AZ to our Sausalito condo in the mid 80s. He spoke so highly of everyone with warmth and a sweet twinkle in his eye. His calm energy and ethereal light will be missed by many.

John, or “Prince-eye”, as we would say, was my dear friend and Kappa Alpha Phi fraternity brother at Grove City College in Pennsylvania in the 1960’s. We even dated some of the same women! John was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver in 1971 the summer I lived there in the same off base condos and where many memories were made. We then caught up to each other most recently when I moved to northern California. John was a precious dear life long friend. We shared a lifetime of experiences. I will miss his intelligence, kindness, generosity, and an especially wicked sense of humor. God’s speed to a true Yinzer.

To John's Family and Friends: John was a beloved Brother of the Kappa Alpha Phi Fraternity at Grove City College, Grove City, PA, Class of 1965. The Brothers from John's era join me in expressing our deepest sympathy to all of you upon John's passing. John was a great guy and a great Brother.
