The donations that are being sent in are incredible and making a big difference for John's brother and sister-in-law. They had to cover coroner, medical examiner, cremation, transportation of John's remains to Pittsburgh, and memorial expenses, all on a moment's notice. Doug has had serious and, at one point, life-threatening health issues. They were in no position to incur all the unexpected costs. These donations have not only lifted their spirits but also moved them deeply and shown how dearly John was loved and, by extension, how much we all care about the welfare of his family.
