John was born April 6th, 1937 to his parents Arlington and Mary Pickett. John “Jim” “Pop” Pickett was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather, and brother. A proud and honorable veteran of the Marines; he loved hunting, fishing, spending his summers in Manistee and his winters in the Florida Keys, and spending time with his family and friends. He taught his children and grandchildren to appreciate and take care of the things …
