An apt description for John. He was my first leader after graduation and he set a fine example for how to treat others. John was supportive and encouraging, especially for a wild-eyed young accountant. His patience was appreciated and he showed me a path where I could help others and myself.
Our paths crossed a number of times after I left Kiesling. I fondly recall seeing him at Monona Terrace. Always warm, friendly and helpful. We were all blessed to have John in our lives. I learned much and applied those lessons throughout my career. I was a better leader and person thanks to his influence.
Rest in peace, my friend!

Dear Matt, Jim and I were very sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. John, indeed, was a very kind, soft-spoken man who loved his family and his granddog Moses. Jim and I fondly remember our walks in McKee Park alongside John with Moses and our little dog Ronan leading the way.
Rest in peace, John.

John was a classmate from Waupaca. Always a gentleman as a young man. Rest in peace John.

John was a gift as a great ambassador for Monona Terrace. He was so welcoming and endearing to every person that walked through our doors. His smile, sparkling eyes and willingness to help endeared himself not only to our visitors but to employees as well. He made Monona Terrace better through the way he treated people as his example raised the bar for all employees. We were all better people because of him.

So sorry to hear this. John hired me for my first job out of college at Kiesling Associates and I never worked for anyone else. 23 great years working with John and many wonderful memories.

Cousin John was such a loving fun cousin. I remember days on the chain of lakes and times around the table in Monroe for so many holidays. You are remembered John. Our memories of you are a blessing. And I do have some funny childhood pictures I will find. Love and strength to Emilie and Connie and Matt and Ben and Deedee.
