A gentleman and a gentle man, John Philip Darling, 88, of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, passed on April 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. John was well respected and beloved for his kindly nature, agreeable manner, and dedicated loyalty.
The son of Philip and Ruth (Robertson) Darling, John and his sister Diane grew up in Waupaca and Monroe, Wisconsin, where he excelled in academics and music. In 1958 he earned his degree in accounting from the …
