John and Peter Whitney, beloved twin sons of Edna Jeanette Gresham and James Charles Whitney, Sr., were born prematurely on December 19, 1964, and passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord after one precious hour of life. Though their time on earth was brief, these cherished infants brought a profound sense of love and unity to their family, forever etching their memory in the hearts of those who awaited them.

The twins are survived by their devoted parents, Edna Jeanette and James Charles Whitney, Sr.; and their siblings: Jamesetta Colette Whitney, James Charles Whitney, Jeffrey Andrew Whitney, Robert Thornton Whitney, Timothy Samuel Whitney, Thomas Gregory Whitney, and Mary Theresa Whitney. They were laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth, Ohio.

We believe the twins are fully alive in Christ and are running and playing with the angels in Heaven.
