John's obituary

John Pelletier Sr., 69, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023, with the love of life, Sandy, by his side.

John, a retired and proud Marine Corp. veteran grew up in Lawrence, Ma and resided throughout the Merrimack Valley during his life. Always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, John will be missed by everyone for his stories and kindness. He was a friend to everyone he met!

In his retirement, he enjoyed spending his days with Sandy, going for drives to the White Mountains, taking care if their garden, sitting outside with neighbors, or eagerly helping all his children with one thing or another-- everything took a back seat to the grandchildren (except maybe MA!) Throughout his life, John had a passion for volunteer work. He was especially proud of his work with the NHCEH as a Granite Leader.

John is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Marie (Saindon) Pelletier along with his sister Patricia. Survived and missed by his wife of 33 years Sandra, and his brother Paul. His siblings Kevin, Betty, and Donna. His children: Gary, John Jr. (Chip), Raymond, Holly, Kim, Amy, Rocky, and Jacob. Grandchildren: Wade, Megan, Ashley, Natasha, James, Tyler, Ben, Brogan, Jayden, Jeremy, and Allie. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.

At John's request, a Celebration of Life be held in his honor in the community room of his residence. The family would like to invite all family, extended family, and friends to attend. 1915 Front Street, Manchester, NH on August 10, 2023, at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that an in-memory donation be made in John’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
