John-Paul Asis Lopez was born on June 14, 2021 and passed into the Father's arms on December 26, 2023.

We thank each and every one of you for the way in which you loved our boy throughout his two and a half years of life. John-Paul was a constant reminder to all of us about the dignity of the human person…our uniqueness, our unrepeatability, and how deeply the Father longs to be in communion with us. His time on this side of heaven although short, was filled with purpose as he lived out the mission God entrusted to him.

John-Paul changed the world one heart at a time. His ability to call people to the present moment was one of his greatest gifts, and one which will forever inspire us to enjoy every momentico, and live ever-present in the moment we find ourselves.

His earthly mission has come to an end, and he now joins the communion of saints as an intercessor for the rest of us who remain. May we all be inspired by his life, his perseverance, his missionary heart…and aim to imitate the virtues he possessed as we say YES to our own unique mission.
