Jack and I would sometimes sing "One" By Three Dog Night" and surprisingly I had a higher pitch then he did!  We'd make it a joke at the end when "singer Chuck Negron" would normally hit that super high note that Jack would turn to me nod his head "Hit it" and I'd hit that note and then Jack would make everyone laugh...remove his glasses to see if the glass was still there!  He was a good singer too!

Jack Hickey was my cousin and he was a few years older than me. I can remember visiting Jack and his parents at their house in Upper Darby. Jack was really into music and he always tries to turn me on to new bands and artists that he had learned about. I really owe him a debt of gratitude for sharing his knowledge and love of rock and roll. Steppenwolf, Todd Rundgren and Guess Who were just a few of the artists that he shared. I think Jack definitely inspired a good part of my lifelong love for music! Thank you Cuz!

Cruising through Hatboro in his hearst on Halloween in 1978-1979. Always cracking himself and everyone else up.
I first met Jack around 1974, through my cousin, Tony Decastro. I was 14 at the time. They had a musical connection. I was a cosmetology student and Jack asked me to cut his hair. I was a newby and very nervous to cut someone’s hair that was as curly as his. Learned my lesson not to cut curly hair while it’s wet as it turned out much shorter than he requested. Instead of being angry he took it in stride, hair grows back he said. I was embarrassed but he was very nice about it, however he never asked again for my services. Always a gentleman and a great friend.
Jack worked for me at micron. I last saw jack, when he showed up at Willy B's. And had a few drinks with my me and my wife. We had a great time! He was a good man. Sure wish I could have spent more time with him.
