John's obituary

John "TUGE" Palermo, known to many by Fat Bible, passed away on December 21, 2023. Born on March 20, 1987, John was known for his incredible creativity, brilliant humor, and infectious positivity.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Zakiya Palermo. John deeply cherished their relationship and the family they built together. He is also survived by his two beloved children, Dio and Dea Palermo, who were born on August 16, 2018, and January 25, 2020, respectively. John's legacy of love, faith, and music will undoubtedly live on through his children.

In addition to his immediate family, John is survived by his always supportive mother, Julia Palermo, and his cherished siblings: Sisters Connie Peterson, Mo Forney, Symone Palermo, Toni Palermo, and his brother, Nino Palermo. He was predeceased by his father, Joe Palermo, and his cousin, Kyte.

Known for his talent in music, John created many masterpieces that dazzled and touched the hearts of many. He found joy in playing with his children, watching his favorite movies, and doing anything creative. An artist in every sense of the word, he left behind works of art that we will forever cherish.

John had an affinity for great cuisine. His favorite meals included calamari, steak, gnocchi, any of his mothers unmatched recipes, and countless recipes of his own. He loved spending his leisure time in any water body, appreciating its calming serenity. John's favorite color, black, reflected the depth and richness of his personality.

John's powerful mindset was to always stay positive and keep your faith high. These words were a testament to his own life, and he lived by them until his final days. His personality was creative, hilarious, and brilliantly unique, making him a joy to be around and treasured by all who knew him. His most impactful accomplishment was his incredible music, but he would proudly state that his greatest achievements were his children, Dio and Dea.

In his unique and unforgettable style, John would often exclaim, "FLEEHHOOOOO!!!" This phrase, much like his music and radiant spirit, will forever echo in the hearts of his loved ones. John will be immensely missed, but his love, laughter, and music will forever keep his memory alive.
