John Michael Butler went home to Jesus on January 17th, 2022 at age 61. 

John was born to Franklin Butler and Louisa Jean-Clarke on September 24th, 1960 in Bartlett, Tennessee. 

As a child, John took a liking to fishing, and was known by "Bass Butler" by his close friends. John met his wife, Edna Johnson in 1972 at Elmore Park Middle School. They married June 18th, 1981 and went on to have 2 children, Kyle Shaun Butler and Miranda August Butler. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, John also loved model trains and built his own railway in his loft. 

Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. John joins his farther Franklin Butler and his mother Louisa Butler in Heaven. He is survived by his son Kyle Butler and grandson Shawn Butler, as well as Miranda Clyde and granddaughter Makenna Clyde. Psalms 16:8
