John McVeigh, a respected oral surgeon, avid chess player, and skilled pianist, passed away on September 3, 2022. Born on February 10, 1926, in Washington, D.C., John lived a long, fulfilling life devoted to his profession, his hobbies, and his loved ones.

His warm and quick-to-laugh personality made him a popular figure at social gatherings and family events, where he would often provide the evening's entertainment with his effortless performances on the piano.

Those who knew John will fondly remember him as a warm, quick-to-laugh gentleman who brought joy to the lives of everyone he encountered. His legacy of kindness, skill, and passion for his hobbies will live on in the many hearts he touched throughout his long, fruitful life. John McVeigh will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
