With great sadness, we announce the passing of John "Mickey" McFadden, a beloved husband and friend, who passed away on March 21, 2023, just shy of his 85th birthday. Though affectionately known as Mickey, John preferred to be called by his birth name, John. Born on March 26, 1938, he led a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of many during his time on this earth.
John is survived by his loving wife of many years, Anne McFadden, who stood by his side through thick and thin, providing unwavering support and companionship. Together, they created a lifetime of memories, which will forever be cherished by Anne and all those fortunate enough to have known John.
John's bright spirit, warm heart, and genuine kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who crossed paths with him. He was a pillar of strength and resilience, persevering through life's challenges and always looking out for others.
John had a strong work ethic and a compassionate nature, qualities that will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and community members. He was an inspiration to many and will be remembered for his love of life, his laughter, and the countless wise words he shared with those around him.
A celebration of John "Mickey" McFadden's life will be held at a later date. We ask that family and friends please respect Anne McFadden's privacy as she navigates this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choosing in John's memory. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through the good deeds and generosity of others.
John's passing is a great loss to all who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone from this world, his memory will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with this extraordinary man.
