John Warren May was born November 21, 1940, to Nadine and Charles “Bud” May in Los Angeles. Growing up he enjoyed going to Lake Arrowhead, CA, water skiing, and going to the beach. He completed high school and shortly after served in the Army. He met his first wife Judy in San Francisco, and they had 5 children but divorced later. In 1971, they moved to Rockford, Illinois. John lived there and worked for the …
