This is such sad news. My heart goes out to John’s family during this time. He was a fantastic boss and leader. His strong family values extended to the workplace and he was always welcoming and approachable. A wonderful role model whom I know will be missed

It is with such a heavy heart that this news came to me. John was a fantastic principal and mentor, he was always understanding of family matters and that's what made him such a kind and supportive boss. He will be missed.

So many teachers can be grateful for John’s encouragement. Although I never worked in his school, John remains one of the most significant influences on my career as a teacher. His years of trust and belief in me as a young leader was nurturing and empowering. I long to pay this forward in mentoring students and early career teachers for many years to come. We are so sad, yet his legacy lives on.
