John “Jack” Campion Makuch, 72, passed away on March 9, 2024, in Des Plaines, IL after a long illness.
Born on March 16, 1951, in Middletown, CT, Jack earned his B.A. from St. Michaels College, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Vermont College. Jack loved spending time with his two daughters, writing novels, painting, and enjoying the company of longtime friends from Church Street in Northbrook, Illinois. Jack had a great sense of humor, …
