I only had a short time with Barry, but I'll forever be grateful for the privilege of knowing a great person like him, even our short talks at shift-change were a great start to my day. Everything from Naval history to past experiences and everyday life. He was always good for a laugh and was a true class-act, I will never forget him. I am sure this is a sad time for his surviving family and friends, I hope their hearts find peace and healing when they're ready.
