John [Gary] Patrick Lockhart, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2023, in the comfort of his home in Mahanoy City. He was born on July 31st, 1933, in Philadelphia to Author and Mary Ellen Lockhart.

Gary was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent 72 years of his life working diligently to provide for his family. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in everything he did. Outside of work, Gary had a passion for playing poker. He enjoyed the strategic nature of the game and the camaraderie it brought with friends and fellow players. His love for poker was evident in the countless hours he spent honing his skills and participating in friendly competitions.

In addition to being a loving family man, Gary was a loyal friend who always went above and beyond to help those in need. His kind heart and generous spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends who have some peace knowing that Gary is resting well with his two daughters, siblings, and his parents. The loss of Gary is immeasurable, but his memory will forever be treasured by those who loved him.
