This is a community gathering for all who loved John, where we will celebrate his life in community with some of the music, friends, and family that sustained him in his life. We welcome anyone to attend who loved John and wants to be a part of honoring his memory, which will forever be a blessing to us all.

At 1 pm, there will be a procession to the Elk Beach and hike to the North end for an oceanside ceremony and releasing of John's ashes in a place sacred to him, which sustained his soul and supported his livelihood as a sea vegetable harvester.
