John Joseph Leffe (Jack)

March 26, 1943 - November 3, 2025

John Joseph Leffe (Jack), a 13-year U.S. Navy veteran, loving father, brother and friend, passed away on November 3, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming at 82 years old.

Born March 26, 1943 to John and Mrytle Leffe and preceded in death by his devoted wife, Valerie. The two were lifelong outdoor enthusiasts who cherished camping and the simple joys of nature. Together, they spent their lives divided between North Carolina and Wyoming, settling in Cheyenne in 2018. Both were devoted dog lovers and always cherished their four-legged children.

Jack is survived by his sister, Judi Leffe; his daughters, Cherie Leffe Goldsmith (Scott), and Suzette Michelle Christianson (Dan); grandsons Anthony Pruski and Colton Goldsmith; and bonus children Tammy Burke (Gary), Tracy Newton-Lawson (Paul) and Frederick Newton; and grandchildren; Megan and Jesse Burke, Dakota Newton, Sadie and Casey Lawson and DJ Anderton. Several cousins and lots of friends.

Due to the distance between the family members, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society or a local no kill animal shelter.
