It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Bert Kupietz, a man who was affectionately known as JB to all who knew him. Born in Chicago, IL on August 22, 1962, John passed away on June 1, 2025, in Melbourne, FL leaving a void in the hearts of those who loved him.

John is survived by his sisters Kathy, Rose, Adrienne, Terri, his brother Ken and his nieces Joy, Dawn, Eileen, Beth, Emily, Isabelle, Jessie, Becky and nephews Danny, Eric and Noah. He was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Matthew Kupietz, whose memories he cherished right up to his last moments.

Known for his adventurous and fun spirit, John had a love for life that was unparalleled. Whether he was riding his motorcycle or working on a new piece of art, he brought creativity and enthusiasm to everything he did. He loved the ocean and moved to from Arkansas to Florida as a young man to pursue the slower pace of beach life. 

His charming smile and infectious laugh will be sorely missed. A creative soul, he loved working with hands, carving wood sculptures and painting them with his own unique design. His mantra of living life to the fullest was a lesson that he led by example and left as a guiding principle for those who knew him.

John’s legacy is one of love and friendship. His unpretentious, friendly and lovable character touched numerous lives, and his memories will forever remain etched in the hearts of his loved ones.
