John Frank Kristbaum

Entered God’s loving arms on November 7, 2023 at age 64. Devoted husband of Colleen (nee Bruch). Proud father of USAF Master Sergeant Jason (Kelly) Kristbaum and USAF Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Kristbaum (Jess Feldmann). Cherished Opa of Joey, Layla, Freddy, Vera, and Tanner. Dear brother of Robert (Jodi) Kristbaum, Mary Kristbaum, Frank Kristbaum, and Erich (Heather) Stuebner. Son-in-law of Myles and Carol Bruch. Loving brother-in-law of Ron (Kathy) Bruch, Doug (Linda) Bruch, Steve (Christy) Bruch, Bill (Christine) Bruch, Mary Jean (Michael) LaLoggia, and Patrick (Chrissy) Bruch. Also loved by his canine companion Rosie, additional family members and many friends.

John loved his “little slice of heaven on earth”, also known as “The Farm” in southwestern Wisconsin. He was an avid hunter who treasured his time in the woods or cruising down the Mississippi with his family. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Additional gathering on Friday, November 17, 2023 at St. Dominic Catholic Parish, 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin at 10:00 AM. Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
