John's obituary

John Johnson, 89, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in Palm Springs, California. Born on July 26, 1935, John lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to his family, career, and passions.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, John served his country from 1955 to 1960. Following his military service, he became the owner of Johnson Electric, leading the business from 1998 until his retirement in 2010. Known for his hard work and determination, John left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.

John had a deep love for fishing, boxing, and cookinghobbies that brought him joy and allowed him to share memorable moments with others. He was also an animal lover who found comfort and companionship in their presence throughout his life.

He is survived by his daughter Michelle Johnson; sons Michael Johnson and Jody Johnson; grandchildren Jacob Albers, Jacqueline Albers, Jaime Nowlin, Brittany Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Lilyanna Garcia, Serieanna Arispe, Angelica Johnson, and Monica Johnson. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Johnson; son Jesse Johnson; and granddaughter Jennifer Albers.

A private celebration of life will be held on February 8, 2025, at his daughter’s residence in Phoenix, Arizona.

John will be remembered for his resilience, dedication to family and work, and the joy he brought to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
