I met Jay Johnson in 1980 and he was my Program Director at WTLC-FM in Indianapolis for 8 years. We met up again in 1995 in Dallas at the ABC Radio Networks and worked together until 2009. Wherever Jay worked he was a radio legend in Chicago, Indy, Dallas Super Jay was The Man and he influenced many radio personalities and recording acts. Smooth yet fierce on the air, and a community leader off the air. Super Jay you will be missed.

So so sorry. I offer the most sincere condolences Tiffany and family 🙏

My deepest sympathies for you Vivi and your whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I regret not being able to attend the funeral but I am currently on orders serving my country.
Our deepest condolence.  Jay will be dearly missed.
To the family are my deepest condolences. Jay was a true legend that I met later in my career. A very humble and talented man with a sublime character. A great man who elevated those around him. He had a remarkable career in radio and his legacy as a world class broadcaster is set in stone. Rest in Peace my radio brother. -BJ Murphy
Sending you and your family my condolences and prayers..God Bless you Fly Joc
