Jere's obituary

Jere was a Beloved Father, Husband and Brother. His family was present when he passed away. He is survived by his sons, Joshua Ferles and John Jerome Ferles V. Siblings Davidson , Barbara, Jeanne and husband Greg along with her daughters Barbara Taylor and Stephanie Brown. Also, his sister-in-law Kim Beall and nephews, Thomas and James. Preceding him was his wife Robin (Hickman) Ferles.

Jere was a San Francisco native. In his later years he lived on the side of a mountain about 35 miles from Yosemite. He was a true mountain man. He was a quite man unless he had something to say, then he had some stories. He was a military vehicle collector that started with his '41 Power Wagon from WWII. He was the most creative, artistic. problem solving person I ever knew. He would master anything that peaked his interest and that was many things. He could Jere-rig anything. Which came in handy in the Rubicon. He even fixed a boat at Stow Lake with just a band-aid once.

Services are to be held at Forest Hill Christian Church, 250 Laguna Honda Blvd., SF on Feb. 22, 2025 @ 12:30. Gathering and food will follow in the Fellowship Hall until 3:00 PM
